Experience
I am TEFL qualified and I taught at an English language academy in Spain for a year before moving to Lahti. I have experience preparing students for several different internationally recognised exams such as Cambridge and Trinity. I also privately tutored several children including a child as young as two years old. I am currently an Au pair for two children here in Lahti. I take care of them and help with their English skills. I have experience teaching both adults and children.

Hobbies
I am a very active person! I am passionate about cycling and music. I also love to draw and I couldn't live without books. With children I believe in using music, crafts and and active approach to learning. It's definitely more fun and more effective! Language is a life skill so involving as many senses as possible is a wonderful way to engage. I am currently studying Finnish. It is certainly an on-going process :) However being a language student myself is great for my teaching as I am also on a language journey of my own, and I can understand individual needs and requirements.
